A Bunnies Tail

During the last week in July, Petey found a nest of bunnies in our yard.  I'm not sure when the momma bunny had them, since the lawn boy had been there a few hours earlier.  At first, I didn't know what they were, they looked like moles.  I built a make-shift shelter around them, so they would be safe from our dogs and other predators.  Then on Sunday, about 2 weeks after they were first found, I went out to check on them like I did daily, and saw that several were outside the nest.  I went to take a picture with Taby looking in on them, but I bumped the board, and six baby bunnies scattered.  We located them all, and put them back, but after their taste of freedom, they didn't stay long.  They are now on their own, and we greatly miss our new babies.

Petey kept an eye on the bunnies while he was outside.
