all about me

Hi. I'm Shay and as you can tell by these pictures, I'm crazy about Taby. We love spending time with family and friends.  We're expecting our first baby next June.  We're so excited.

We share our home with 2 dogs, Morgan and Petey,  3 cats Grammy, Piglet and Peaches and 2 fish Kenya and Angel.

Some of my hobbies are crafting: sewing, scrapbooking, painting; playing with Taby and the pets, and animal rescue. We love being able to rehabilitate animals and prepare them to go onto new loving homes. Three of our current pets have special needs: Grammy has asthma, Piglet has panleukapenia which is feline distemper. When his mom was pregnant with him she got sick, and now he has motor skill issues, he pounds his feet when he walks and has some balance issues.  He is the alpha male in the house, although Grammy (they are related in real life) is the oldest.  Morgan, was rescued from the SPCA in January of 2005, she was neglected and abused in her previous home.  When we got her, over 90% of her body was covered in mats, poor girl.  We work with her daily to help her become more comfortable in different scenerios.

Piglet, my extra special kitty. He is the most loving kitty and is like the DON of our family.
