Maybe I'm just a city girl, and I'm not used to radishes growing this BIG in the real world,
but boy was I excited when I saw this radish. I had tried to grow a garden earlier in the year, and when nothing was
working, I emptied out my pots around the house. Well, the dirt from this pot went on top of some flowers I needed more
dirt on that I had just planted. Well, I noticed Petey (who loves veggies, by the way) kept grabbing "weeds" and taking
off with them, so I went to investigate. I thought, well I might as well "prune" the area and get rid of some of the
weeds, while I'm here. Much to my surprise, I unearthed two radishes, one was much smaller and then there was the giant
radish, pictured above. I was so excited as was Taby who couldn't wait to pose with it. The smaller radish was
very spicy, I wonder what this one will be like.
